What is the library services platform?

Answer

The library services platform (LSP) is the suite of software libraries use to acquire, manage, and lend resources, as well as to enable users to search for, locate, and access those resources.

In June 2025, the CWRU Libraries, in collaboration with the OhioLINK academic library consortium, transitioned to a new LSP. This upgrade brings enhancements to catalog searching, improved access and delivery of electronic resources, more streamlined borrowing from other OhioLINK member libraries, and a more intuitive search interface.
