Q. I'm an instructor. How can I scan course reserve materials to to upload as e-resources on Canvas?

Kelvin Smith Library's Freedman Center Lab offers high-end scanning workstations for instructors who wish to digitize course material. Please keep in mind that instructors are responsible for scanning their own course materials, and to reference KSL's Open Access, Publishing and Copyright webpage or email asksl@case.edu for copyright questions as needed. For help with uploading e-resources in Canvas, [U]Tech offer training resources and support.

Most commonly used FC Lab Scanners and their intended materials:

• For Books, use the Book Scanner.
• For loose, bulk documents like journal articles, use the Bulk Document Scanner.
